Verbena Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz gin (or vodka)

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz lemon verbena simple syrup (see below)

1 fresh Buzz Button (plus extra for garnish)

Ice cubes, Club soda (optional, to top off)Lemon twist (for garnish)

For the Lemon Verbena Simple Syrup:

1 cup sugar

1 cup water Handful of fresh lemon verbena leaves

Directions:

Make the Lemon Verbena Simple Syrup: Combine sugar, water, and lemon verbena leaves in a saucepan.

Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, let it cool, and strain out the leaves.

Prepare the Cocktail: 

In a shaker, gently muddle 1 fresh Buzz Button to release its tingling properties.

Add ice, gin, lemon juice, and 1 oz of the lemon verbena simple syrup. Shake well for about 15 seconds.

Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Top with a splash of club soda if desired. Garnish with a lemon twist and a Buzz Button.
